What is FORS?

The Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) is a voluntary accreditation scheme for fleet operators that aims to raise the level of quality within fleet operations and to demonstrate which operators are achieving exemplary levels of best practice in safety, efficiency, and environmental protection.

Becoming a FORS member can bring you the peace of mind that your company is managing its work-related road risk (WRRR) – and demonstrates to your customers and supply chain your commitment to exceeding the industry standard.

Many companies now require Fleet Operators to hold a FORS accreditation to enable them to carry out work via commercial vehicles.

Ray of Light Solutions can help you through achieving the FORS accreditation by offering a variety of different packages to suit company size and/or budget.

FORS Package options

• 1-hour consultation via online or in-person

• Policy, procedure and Risk Assessment Documents Pack Only Option

• Individual Policy, procedure and Risk Assessment Pack- written specifically for your business

• Half Day or Full Day Consultation to prepare a plan going forward for achieving the FORS accreditation

• A complete package – this includes everything that you need to achieve the FORS Accreditation. This is carried out completely by Ray of Light Solutions.

This can include us attending the audit for you, and representing your company.

• A consultation prior to the audit to ensure you can get through the bronze audit.

Our Working Process

Consultation

We will discuss your requirements and expectations during our initial consultation phase.

Proposal

We will then prepare a bespoke proposal for you to review which will include deliverables against all your requirements as wel as our pricing and timescales.

Completion

Once the proposal has been signed off we will confirm your start date and ensure we provide you with the best service.
